This entry is going to be on the LA Girl Pro Concealers. I've been hearing so much about these on Instagram and YouTube. A few makeup artists purchased these for their kits, as an alternative to the MAC Pro Longwear Concealers. So, yep, I decided to buy these for my kit.
I went on the website ikatehouse.com and purchased all 18 shades for $31.00. These colors range from the lightest to the darkest shades. Below are the Concealers in their packaging after I took it out the envelope, and the swatches of each shade.
These can be used for under-eye highlighting, contouring, and even as a foundation too. If I had to rate these concealers, I would give it a 9.5. I like the coverage. I would say in order to get the result you want (that under-eye brightening, of course go two to three shades lighter), use a damp Beautyblender sponge. Them sponges really work! Pricey but they are the Bomb.com! I plan on purchasing the Beautyblenders for my kit very soon. I can see how they are a great dupe for the MAC Pro Longwear. Nice and thick coverage. I recommend setting this with a powder, like Ben Nye's Banana powder, or any translucent powder. And don't forget that gorgeous cheek highlight.
For my makeup artists that are starting to build your kit, you definitely need to purchase these concealers. Normally, the MAC Pro Longwear is $19.00 for 1... but you're paying $31.00 for 18 shades... You can't beat that, dolls. Trust me!
